How To Update LG Nexus 4 With Android 4 4 Kitkat

Before You Begin:

• You need a windows based PC or Laptop.
• Make sure your device is charged minimum 70%.
• Enable USB Debugging in your device.Click Here if you dont know how to enable.
• The device bootloader must be unlocked.Click Here if bootloader is not unlocked.
• Dont forgot to make a backup of your data.

Download Required Files:

• Android SDK (For Installation & Setup Help Click Here)
• Android 4.4 kitkat update

How To Update Android 4.4 in Nexus:

• Connect your nexus device to your computer.
• Navigate to C:Program FilesAndroid SDKsdkplatform-tools on your computer.
• Now copy the extracted files (from update package,Copy the extracted files not the extracted folder) to the path mentioned above (C:Program FilesAndroid SDKsdkplatform-tools).
• Now hold Shift Key on the keyboard and give Mouse Right Click (keep hold Shift Key) to appear pop-up menu and select Open command window here (from the pop-up menu).As shown in picture...

• A command window will appear.Type adb reboot bootloader in command window and hit enter button.
• Once you are in bootloader mode.Close the command window.
• Now run the flash-all.bat file to start the update process.(from C:Program FilesAndroid SDKsdkplatform-tools)
• Now wait for the process to complete.
• Once the process is completed,your device will reboot automatically.
• Please be patience,first boot can take 4-5 minutes.
